THE A - Z OF RECYCLING
Our promise to you - we will collect anything from your office that can be practically
and legally recycled. Everything we collect is recycled, nothing recyclable
is thrown away. We will always try to maximise the environmental value of your
waste and provide full transparency of our processes.
| ALUMINIUM FOIL |
Clean aluminium foil can
be recycled along with your drinks cans in our special
plastic sacks.

| APPLIANCES |
Dishwashers, washing machines,
microwaves and other white goods can all be collected.
We only service offices.
|
| BOOKS |
Our blue sacks
can be used to recycle any paper-based product, including
books, newspapers, coloured and mixed papers.
|
| CANS |
We collect steel
and aluminium cans in our see-through plastic bags. They
can be mixed with plastic bottles.
|
| CD'S |
Old CD's can
be recycled into high quality crystal polystyrene pellet.
Put loose CD's into a box. We will collect them free
of charge , with regular recycling collections.

| COMPUTERS |
Old computers
can often be reused in the third world. We collect, wipe
the data and reuse or recycle computers. Keyboards, mice
and cables can also be collected.

| ENVELOPES |
All types of
envelopes, including window, can be collected in our
blue sacks for mixed grades.
|
| FRIDGES |
These can contain
CFC's which damage the ozone layer. We will collect
and ensure their safe disposal.
|
| FURNITURE |
Old or surplus
office furniture can often be re-used by small companies
and charities. We can arrange for collection
from your office.
|
| FLUORESCENT TUBES |
| We can collect
individual tubes or supply containers to recycle hundreds.
All types & lengths of tubes and energy efficient
bulbs are recycled. |

| GLASS |
Small office kitchens or
large office canteens can all recycle mixed glass. Collected
in our crates or wheeled bins. There is no need to sort
by colour.
|
| MONITORS |
Computer monitors and TV's
can be reused or recycled. We collect all sizes, but
please let us know in advance if 19" or over.

| MAGAZINES |
Like newspapers, magazines
of all types are collected in our blue sacks.
|
| MILK BOTTLES |
Plastic HDPE milk bottles
are collected in our clear plastic sacks . Bottles must
be rinsed to prevent odour problems. We cannot collect
dirty material.

| MIXED PAPERS |
"Mixed" papers
is everything other than white paper. This includes
newspapers, magazines, coloured paper, envelopes and
brochures. Collected in our blue sacks. |
| MOBILE PHONES |
Free collection,
simply wrap each phone individually with its charger
and manual (if you have it) in a plastic carrier bag.

| NEWSPAPERS |
Old newspapers
should be collected in our blue bags, preferably separate
from other mixed materials.
|
| PALLETS |
Wooden pallets
can be recycled into MDF. We can collect just one or
many pallets.
|
| PLASTIC BOTTLES |
Any plastic
bottle can be recycled, along with cans, in our special
clear sacks. Don't mix with food residues, plastic film
or vending cups.

| PLASTIC FILM |
| Carrier bags and other film
can be recycled in our clear sacks. Do not mix with anything
else and make sure that film does not have food residues. |

REAM WRAPPERS |
| Ream wrappers can not be recycled. These coated waterproof
wrappers must be thrown away. |

PHOTOCOPIER TONER REFILLS |
These bottles are not recyclable and must be thrown away.

| PRINTERS |
Laser and ink-jet printers
can all be refurbished or recycled. Please tell us the
printer type and warn us if it's over 20kg.

| TELEPHONES |
We collect office equipment
like telephones and fax machines.
|
| TONER CARTRIDGES |
Printer, fax and ink-jet cartridges
are collected free of charge . Simply put used cartridges
back in their boxes.

| SHREDDED PAPER |
Paper you have
shredded can be recycled. We have to make a small charge
because of its large volume. Use your own plastic bags
or our white sacks.
|
| VENDING CUPS |
Collect plastic PS6 vending
cups in our clear, waterproof sacks , but keep separate
from cans & plastic bottles. Our specialised Beca Bin
enables you to collect these cups conveniently, without
spillage.

| VIDEO TAPES |
We can recycle the hard casings
of video tapes but we have to throw the tape away as it's
non-recyclable.
|
| WHITE PAPER |
All uncoloured copier paper
or letterhead is regarded as white paper. Staples, paperclips,
colour ink & logos are not a problem. Collected in
our white sacks.
|
| WOOD |
| Wood can be recycled by chipping
and turning into MDF. But please note that MDF itself is
non-recyclable. |
